It is our mission to try anything and everything cannabis related, so when we saw Verra’s Micromist we figured that was a must try. I had never heard of spraying cannabis under the tongue to get high, and I loved the idea of being able to regulate precisely how much THC you want spray by spray (each spray is either 1mg for Recreational or 2 mg if you get medicinal). They have two flavors, strawberry, and peppermint, so I got both and brought them home to test.

Company Claim: “Our Micromist Spray leverages a biphasic uptake, meaning the cannabinoids are first absorbed by the region under your tongue, then later absorbed as the product works its way through your digestive system. So you can expect the spray to have mild effects within 30 minutes, peak between 1-2 hours and last for about 4-8, depending on how fast your body metabolizes the cannabinoids.”
Review:
Ok, let’s start with flavor, as mentioned above they come in strawberry ginger and peppermint. I tried the strawberry ginger first and was not a huge fan. It tasted like a fake chemically favoring and not much like strawberry ginger. While I never really got used to the strawberry ginger flavor the peppermint is fantastic! The minty flavor lingers and makes your mouth feel fresh as if you had just sprayed a mild and delicious breath mint spray into your mouth. So I would 100% suggest sticking with peppermint.
Moving on to experience. It was fairly weird at first to spray cannabis under the tongue but not much different than a breath spray. I wanted to start low and slow, as is always the best practice. After just one spray, which is 1mg, I did not feel much at all. This could be an excellent option for those that want to use edibles to reduce anxiety without feeling high. However, I’m always interested in getting a bit high, so the next go around I took two sprays.
After getting used to micromisting I started to enjoy the process. It’s quick, easy, and portable, and it just looks like a breath spray if you are hoping to use it in a public setting. I even started bringing the CBD/THC 1:1 to the gym with me a taking a few sprays before working out. 2 sprays for me is enough to get me slightly high, but also highly functional. I find the higher thc ratios great for sleeping as well.
As far as how fast it kicks in, Verra claims that it will take about 30 mins, for me, I feel like the effects start even quicker than this. Even a soon as 10 mins. They are relatively long lasting, I would say in 1-2 hours there is a peak and then after 2-3 a tapering off. So this is super quick acting for my body.
Being able to regulate precisely how much thc you get makes this product a game changer for me. I can have one spray when I need to go to work and want to curb anxiety or soreness from working out. I can have two sprays when I want to be a little high but get shit done, and I can go up from there depending on how I want to feel at that moment. It went from being a weird, maybe not for me type of experience, to the edible I keep in my pocket at all times. I highly suggest this product if you are looking to have a lot of control over your high.
Ingredients: As always I like to dive into the actual ingredients of the product and this one comes up pretty clean. They use Green-Certified coconut oils and natural extracts. It is sugar-free, gluten-free, and vegan (yay!).

Overall I am sold! I don’t need to consume a sugar-filled cookie or candy to get high, and I also don’t have to inhale something into my lungs (I’m training for a triathlon, so this matters to me right now).
